ICS Giving Opportunities

ICS is Oregon’s oldest and only independent nonprofit law firm exclusively representing immigrants in a wide variety of immigration matters.  For nearly 40 years, ICS’s generous donors have provided much-needed support.  Your tax-deductible donations of any amount will support ICS’s legal services, education and outreach efforts to low income individuals and families in Oregon and Southwest Washington, including rural communities served by ICS’s Central Office and our Hood River Office.  ICS welcomes financial and in-kind donations:
  • $50 will support a legal consultation
  • $100 supports providing materials and an hour training for non-profit service providers and schools
  • $150 helps an individual obtain copies of documents such as marriage and birth records
  • $200 will help a crime or human trafficking victim take the first step toward getting a visa
  • $500 helps a lawful permanent resident with a citizenship application
  • $1,000 secures legal representation for an asylum seeker fleeing persecution

In-kind donations of specialized expertise are welcome!

  • Website design and communications
  • Computers, printers, and technology assistance
  • Advertising, graphics and marketing
  • Data collection, reporting, and grant writing

ICS always welcomes in kind donations of materials and equipment.  We have the following on our wish list:

  • A projector and screen for community presentations
  • A reliable laptop computer that can be used for mobile consults and presentations
  • Reams of quality white paper for copies of immigration documents
  • Foam core poster boards and 3 easels
